    • DETAIL: Widely recognized as the leading civil rights theorist in the nation, Professor Roy L. Brooks has taken on the thorny problem of black reparations. Professor Brooks offers a bold proposal that turns the most contentious civil rights issue of the day into an opportunity for racial reconciliation. His theory has been used by state governments, large corporation, universities, and the descendants of slaveholding or slave-trading families to redress the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow. Food provided.
